Scott L. Corwin has built a distinguished career in management consulting over thirty years at Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton/booz&co., and AT Kearney. He has advised scores of public and private sector clients across diverse industries – including incumbents and innovators – on strategic growth, operational transformation, early stage R&D/technology innovation, digitization and digital platforms, customer and brand marketing, and corporate turnarounds and financial restructuring.
Scott is a widely recognized thought leader known for his ability to synthesize complex, multi-dimensional issues into actionable insights as well as for building passionate teams and sizeable professional service practices. Over the past decade, he has been at the forefront of reimagining how to apply large-scale, applied systems change to drive sustainability and create more livable cities.
He recently launched Corwin Advisors LLC to advise and invest in organizations prioritizing efforts to increase the speed and scale of the energy transition, infrastructure modernization, and industrial decarbonization. Corwin Advisors is building collaborative networks of leaders that can bring a broad range of capabilities and expertise to these initiatives.
At Deloitte, Scott founded the US Sustainability Practice and led its strategic positioning and commercialization across the Audit, Consulting, and Tax businesses. He previously founded and led the firm’s Global Future of Mobility Practice. Scott has been prodigious in the development of thought leadership related to clean energy, smart mobility, low carbon industrials and built environment, regenerative food/agriculture and nature-based solutions, and transparent and efficient carbon credit markets. He led several global System Market Activations with industry, tech, Wall Street, and government to accelerate adoption of decarbonization technologies and solutions.
Scott has actively collaborated with and/or been a keynote speaker at The World Economic Forum, RMI, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, The Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Science, CES, Fortune Brainstorm Tech, The Aspen Institute, The Economist, and numerous leading universities. He serves on the Advisory Board for NYU Stern’s Fubon Center for Technology, Business, and Innovation and The World Economic Forum’s Center for Fourth Industrial Revolution Mobility Council. Scott also has also led firm relationships with The Council on Foreign Relations and the Partnership for New York City.
Scott has a BA from Brandeis University (Magna Cum Laude and with High Honors in Politics) and his MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University Stern School of Business.
Scott and his wife, Elizabeth, divide their time between New York City and their historic farmstead and art studio in Spencertown NY. They have two adult children, Harrison and Amelia, both professionals who also reside in New York City.
